Here is a video that shows why I smoke meat. Not only is the flavor amazing, but just check out how juicy and tender this pork shoulder is. For the record, it was in the smoker for 22 hours and pulled apart amazingly well. It was smoked with apple wood and rubbed with Cookshack’s rib rub.
That is the Masterbuilt unit that I suggest. Thanks for posting the link as the video shows some amazing results. I just stumbled across the Masterbuilt unit at Lowe’s this weekend, so keep that in mind if you are thinking about buying one. It might be cheaper to buy it in a store and eliminate the shipping cost. You could also take advantage of the promos they have frequently (save $10 when you spend $50 or save $25 when you spend $250 – or whatever the exact numbers are).
Your video of preparing the pork shoulder has me drooling! You prepare meet with as much precision as Amy does in her needlework.

Is this the middle of the road version you recommend? Watch the video on their site, because it shows a side load for the wood chips. Is that right?
